SLSENIORS Portrait Sessions are available on weekday evenings, select mornings, and select weekends. Weekend dates are extremely limited and tend to fill quickly.

Some locations outside of Salt Lake County may have a travel fee. We can discuss that during your Virtual Planning Consultation.
Senior sessions at Little Sahara Sand Dunes, Bonneville Salt Flats, and Antelope Island require an additional $250 travel fee (plus any applicable entrance fees). These locations also have limited weekend availability.
Fees that are associated with a location (parking, entrance, etc) also apply.
Travel fees are due on the day of your session.

If the weather isn't cooperating (whether it's extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, poor air quality, or anything else that could affect your senior session or the overall experience) I reserve the right to reschedule.
You might think we can power through unusually hot temperatures or super windy conditions, but after photographing seniors for years, I've learned those situations rarely lead to a great experience or great photos.
If that happens, we'll find a new date at no additional charge. My goal is simple: to give you the best possible experience and photos.

I'm a little picky when it comes to editing because I want your photos to look amazing while still looking like you.
Every image receives professional editing and light retouching. I'll smooth temporary blemishes, clean up distracting background elements, and make sure your gallery feels polished without making you look like a completely different person.
Additional retouching requests may be subject to an additional fee.
-
Digital images are purchased separately from the Creative Session Fee. After your reveal, you'll have the opportunity to choose from digital files, fine art prints, framed artwork, and albums.

Parents are always welcome and usually end up having a great time watching everything come together.
That said, seniors tend to relax and open up more when they aren't being watched quite so closely, so I usually recommend parents hang nearby and let me work my magic.
Parents, I promise I'll take good care of them, and I'm always happy to chat before the session, during breaks, or afterward.

Payment Plans are available once you receive your viewing gallery.
To make things a little easier, a two-payment option is available with 30% due when your collection is selected and the remaining balance due within 30 days.
Longer payment plans are also available for a small fee.
Products and digital images are delivered once the balance is paid in full.

During your virtual consultation, we'll talk through your vision and choose locations that give us a variety of looks without spending too much time driving or walking between spots.
Sessions are up to 2 hours long, so locations that are far apart may reduce shooting time. If you'd like to visit additional locations, extra time can be added for an additional fee.
-
The sooner, the better. I keep my availability limited, and the most popular dates book first.
I also recommend leaving plenty of time for planning, your session, editing, and any yearbook or graduation deadlines.
If you already know you want a session, reach out sooner rather than later!

Most sessions begin 2 to 3 hours before sunset to take advantage of the best light. Occasionally, a session may call for an early morning start depending on the location, season, and overall vision.
All of this will be discussed during your virtual planning consultation when we map out the details of your session.
-
Most galleries are ready 2 to 3 weeks after your session.
If you have a specific deadline for yearbooks, graduation announcements, or another event, be sure to let me know during your planning consultation so we can plan accordingly. Rush editing may be available for an additional fee.

The best season depends on a few things.
First, we'll consider any deadlines you have and how much flexibility your schedule allows. Utah weather can be unpredictable in both spring and fall, so it's always good to have a little wiggle room.
After that, I want to know which season feels the most like you. Are you a summer baby who comes alive in the sunshine? Do you love fall colors and layers? The best senior portraits happen when the season feels like an extension of your personality.
We'll talk through it all during your planning consultation and choose a season that fits both your timeline and your story.
